Northindia, China, Himalaya, Monsoon areas.
These species like in summer a little more humidity as in winter. After growing the young shoots they like to rest in a cool and dry ambience. But dont let the young shoots shrink. If the young shoots shrink the plant might not flower. Instead of blooms there might grow new young shoots. Beginners will have a lot of fun with this kind of orchids. They preferr regular warm to hot temperatures with high humidity.
Flowers:
The blooms are about 4 cm big. They grow on the new shoots.
