Origin:
This beautiful plant was found in Asia specially on the tropic and subtropic
asiatic islands.
Vandas are normally cultivated without substrate. But this is a thing impossible to do on a windows seat. In order to grow these plants on a window seat they are often offered in a pot. Vandas do not like wet roots for a long time so be carefull whith watering Vandas in a pot. If Vandas do not have enought light during winter they won't flower.
Flower:
The blue and veined blooms are about 7 cm in diameter. They are on a panicle which grows at the side of the plant between the leafes.
